Fix It Guy is currently seeking a professional, highly self-motivated Appliance Service Technician. Excellent attendance, punctuality and positive attitude are essential for this position and our business.

Position Summary: The Appliance Service Technician will be a full-time team player who is technically oriented and able to ensure fast, flexible, and expert service to diagnose and repair customer/product issues while maintaining the reputation of the company and its brands.

Essential Functions:

• Provide in-home diagnosis and repair of various home appliances.

• Maintaining high-quality customer service and care.

• Advise customers on the proper operation of their products to extend the life of the appliances.

• Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.

• Complete daily service tickets and other reports as required.

• Meeting key performance indicators and/or productivity goals.

• Maintain company provided vehicle.

• Various other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of Appliance Repair experience preferred.

• Refrigeration License, Sealed System Certified a plus.

• Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of a computer, tools, and test equipment.

• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Ability to lift/move products weighing 50+lbs.
